Area Schools competed in State Track meets this past weekend with outstanding results by area athletes. Some of these includes a top 12 finish by the Appleton city boys and girls teams in class 1, Adrian boys finished 8th in class 2 and the Clinton boys and girls teams finished 15th and 16th respectively. Some individual results include 1st place for the Appleton City 4 x 400 boys relay, in class 2 it was Mollie Andrew of Archie winning in girls Pole Vault and Hank Tenholder of Adrian taking the Boys Disc Throw and Congratulations to Brilley Wishard for winning the Class 3 Girls Javelin Throw and Triston Switzer in boys Pole Vault finishing 4th, both of Clinton.
